Volunteers turn out for annual Point-in-Time Count of Santa Cruz County’s homeless (Sentinel Volunteers) ⮺
As people were preparing to begin their days at the break of dawn Thursday, more than 130 volunteers fanned throughout Santa Cruz County on a 40-degree overcast morning with a simple goal: count the number of visible homeless people in their assigned census tracts and deliver that data to the county.
